Website Xpress is a pre-defined package website solution. Each package is a complete website solution which can be enhanced via a series of add-on options. In order to help you better understand these packages we have a series of frequently asked questions. What domain name will I get?
Our websites come with a single domain name, a .com/.net/.org/.biz/.info/.uk, subject to availability but if you already have a domain name we can use that. Other domain names such as .im are available at additional cost.
Do I get a email address?
Each website packages has 5 POP3 e-mail accounts. Each account can have up to 10 e-mail addresses assigned to that one account.
Do you provide anti-virus or spam filtering?
No. Our e-mail accounts do not have any anti-virus or spam filtering in order to reduce any e-mail disruption such as false positives. If you want this kind of protection we recommend you install suitable software on the computer you use to receive e-mails. Installing such software will also provide protection against other Internet threats while using the Internet in general.
What is monthly bandwidth?
Monthly bandwidth is the amount of data used by people looking at your website. The more people who visit your website the more bandwidth is used. Each website package includes a certain amount of bandwidth but once this allowance is exceeded excess bandwidth charges are payable.
What can a web page contain?
Each web page within our website packages can contain text and up to 3 photos/images. Additional items such as flash animations, additional photos, documents to download can be added for an additional cost
Can I have additional pages?
Yes. Additional pages can be added. Please see our add-on options for more details.
Can I add a photo gallery?
Yes. Additional pages for a photo gallery can be added. Please see our add-on options for more details.
Can I sell things and take orders via the website?
Yes. The addition of our web cart service and a suitable payment service allows you to take orders online. Please see our add-on options for more details.
Why do I have to pay a monthly fee?
The monthly fee covers the ongoing operation costs of your website. These include the domain name registration, hosting, and fees for any hosted service such as our web cart service.
How do I make changes to the website?
Changes can be made by contacting our support department with details of the required changes which are carried out and charged at our standard hourly rate.
Will my site be listed in the search engines?
Yes. We will submit your website to the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN Search. While this does not guarantee inclusion most websites are usually included with time.
